Studio 18 is committed to providing a well-rounded, high-quality dance education in all genres of dance. Our highly-trained professional faculty will instill proper technique, creativity, respect, and an admiration for the art of dance in all students. Every student will feel special, gain self confidence, and talented each time they step into a class.

Studio 18's goal is to provide students with a safe environment in which they can express themselves through movement. We strive help our dancers to discover their individual strengths and reach their personal potential; while excelling through team work and making lasting friendships.
Services
Alissa Deutsch is the founder and owner of FUSION Dance Company.
She has been involved in the dance industry since 1997.
Alissa has trained at many prestigious dance studios in the Chicagoland area including; Gus Giordano, Joel Hall, and Lou Conte Dance Studios.
She has also trained in Los Angeles, California, at Millennium Dance Complex and Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio.
Over the past 20 years, Alissa has taught dance in the north shore of Chicago at private dance studios and had guest residencies at area High Schools.
Payment is due upon registration.
Only sessions paid in full are eligible for full multiple class discounts.
This fee is once per school year.
Studio credit is good for one year from the date issued.
Make-up classes may be taken for classes missed due to scheduled studio closings, inclement weather, illness, or personal conflicts.
By signing the registration form, you are giving Studio 18 permission to these photos and video footage for marketing and promotion.
Consistent attendance is important to a students' growth as well as to the curriculum of the entire class.
Dancers must abide by the Studio 18 dress code.
If a student arrives for class not wearing the appropriate attire they will not be able to participate in the class for that day.
Our dress code is in place for safety, professionalism, and for the optimal training of the dancer.
Hair must be pulled back neatly away from the face.
Ballet classes must have their hair secured in a bun.
No jewelry is permitted.
All students must have clean soled gym shoes that will be used for class.
In the event of rain or snow, please change your shoes upon arrival as to not track in dirt.
FUSION Dance Company is composed of experienced dancers in the 7th-12th grade who specialize in hip hop dance and choreography.
Through hard work and practice, its members excel in providing high-energy performances packed with innovative style and attitude that is sure to keep their audience on the edge of their seats.
The group travels, performs, and competes throughout the Chicagoland area year round, re-auditioning annually in early June.
FUSION practices twice per week and the company members are required to take an advanced hip hop class to improve dance ability.
Our dance company is comprised of dancers who want to take dancing beyond the classroom and participate in more performance opportunities.
Our Company Performance Program is designed to allow each dancer to tailor commitment to ensure the right fit for each dancer.
Dancers ages 5-18 are welcomed to audition for The Company annually in early June for the following school year.
Dancers ages 5-7 focus on jazz while dancers ages 8-18 study jazz as well as lyrical.
Dancers are required to take ballet and attend their company rehearsal hours.
