New York Performing Arts Center
As Westchester's premiere performing arts training center, New York Performing Arts Center brings New York City right to your backyard! With training in acting, singing and dancing, our aim is to create and inspire technical and well rounded artists who can develop and learn as creative thinkers and movers to surge ahead in the ever changing arts community.

With this comprehensive approach, our students will have the opportunity to experience each branch of the performing arts. Our goal is to provide a challenging and nurturing environment for a student to specialize their skills in a particular area that will provide them with a thorough sense of training and exposure to develop their own sense of style, language and expression.

Through artistic collaborations and community partnerships, we strive to create meaningful performing opportunities for our students. With a performance ensemble, a competitive team, and a theater company, we want our students to focus on and delve into the process of their learning, as well as on the final performance.
Services
On Thursday & Friday before the recital we will be holding a Dress/Tech Rehearsal for the recital at Stepinac High School.
This will give each class an opportunity to dance in their costumes and get comfortable on stage before our recital.
Each class will have 15 minutes on the stage to rehearse their dance.
Your class is either scheduled on Thursday or Friday.
Our Adaptive Dance Class will help children understand the process of moving and controlling their bodies.
It will help to improve physical fitness, balance, coordination, posture, & motor skills.
It will also help to build self esteem in all students.
Our Adaptive Dance Class meets once a week for one hour on Saturdays from 9.00 to 10.00.
If you are interested in getting more information, or registering for class, please contact us at (914) 358 4222.
NYPAC considers participation in dance competitions to be a reflection on our studio's solid reputation for quality, not simply in the way we train our students to dance, but on how we influence them as people.
It is our goal to develop a genuine respect for dance as an art form in each of our competition dance team members.
With the right focus, the experience can be an excellent motivator for self confidence.
Master classes and choreography rehearsals or our Dance Bootcamp for all competition teams is held the week before Labor day and is mandatory for all competition dancers.
Auditions for all our competition teams are held each year in the 3rd week of May.
If you are unable to make any of the scheduled time please call the studio to try schedule another time for your audition.
Being a member of the NYPAC competition team(s) promises to be a healthy, educational experience for all dancers!
SHOWSTOPPERS is a one of kind musical theatre program where young performers have the opportunity to display their best talents, by learning about acting, singing and dancing, all while being a part of a musical theatre production.
The goal of SHOWSTOPPERS is to offer performers a program that allows them to incorporate their passion for performing into a schedule already bursting with other commitments.
All SHOWSTOPPERS productions rehearse for twelve weeks, with a performance at the end of the twelfth week.
