Marlyn Abramson New Dance Workshop has studios located in Lansdale, Harleysville, and Spring House, PA. A full curriculum in dance techniques is offered using a developmental approach that enables students to learn and grow at their own pace in a non-competitive atmosphere. Our community-based dance education program curriculum consists of Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Theater Production, Irish Step, and Preschool Gymnastics.
The instructional staff is university trained in dance and are committed to providing students an experience that promotes individual success through a curriculum which emphasizes discipline and patience in a caring and nurturing environment.

The journey began at the age of 4 years old when my mother enrolled me in my first dance class.
Although it was many years ago, it seems like yesterday that I was experiencing the excitement and thrills of my classes and recitals.
My family was encouraging and supportive of my dance performance goals, which is so important for a child.
As a student I took multiple classes which gave me the skills and confidence to dance with the Philadelphia Civic Ballet company when I was 15.
Although I had minor parts, the experience was awesome, challenging, and rewarding.
Although it was many years ago, it seems like yesterday that I was experiencing the excitement and thrills of my classes and recitals.
My family was encouraging and supportive of my dance performance goals, which is so important for a child.

We have 3 convenient dance studios for children and adults in or around Spring House, Lansdale, and Harleysville, PA.

Additionally, for those dancers who are interested in expanding their artistic dance abilities & education, they may join our dance company.
The repertory Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, Irish, and Contemporary Lyrical companies of the New Dance Workshops perform professionally choreographed dances throughout the Philadelphia region in concerts, schools, senior centers and community events.

Jenna Demar was a beautiful young girl who touched many lives.
We were blessed to have Jenna as one of our students in our Spring House Studio.
In her memory, her family is generously giving a scholarship which will be awarded annually at the Spring House Recital.
Dance provided an outlet for Jenna to be creative and gain the confidence she needed.
It was dance where her personality shined.
She had the love of dance, the spirit of dance, and thoroughly enjoyed her time spent in the dance studio and at her recitals.
