We have upgraded our heating & AC system with a new HVAC system that provides an increase in fresh air exchange. It will exchange the inside air with fresh outside air six times per hour. We have installed an ultraviolet light that kills viruses and bacteria as it comes through the system. We offer instruction for ages 3-adult. Our classes include classical ballet, pointe, lyrical ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, baton twirling, creative dance and Zumba.

The Dance Place was founded in 1995 under the direction of Joanne DePue, BFA, University of the Arts and Susan Moore, BA, Holy Family University and M.Ed, Temple University.
Joanne DePue, artistic director (1995--until her passing in 2018), was a graduate of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance performance and education.
Upon graduation, she was the recipient of the Ursela Melita Heisman award for outstanding achievement in ballet.
She taught dance for 36 years.

The Dance Place Dance Company is comprised of five competitive teams: Seniors, Teens, Juniors, Petites, and Sprites.
Our competitive dancers are highly regarded and highly rewarded for their many successes winning trophies, plaques, medals, ribbons, and many special judges' awards for outstanding performance.
Our teams have won overall top scores as well as many top scores in their categories!
Our teams have competed at Starpower, Starbound, Headliners, Beyond the Stars, National Dance Showcase, Dance XPlosion, and That's Entertainment to name a few.
