Freestyle Dance Academy once again had the opportunity to work with our friends down in Philadelphia at CHOP, to help give back and make some of their patients smile. The Ryan Seacrest Studio, sponsored by the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, celebrated its 10th anniversary, and the dancers of FDA were in full effect to help them party the day away! The Seacrest Studios are sponsored by the Ryan Seacrest Foundation and aim to inspire today's youth through entertainment and education initiatives.
Some of the incredible FDA teachers, and a few friends, hit the floor with Hot Hot Hot entertainment to produce a hybrid dance party for the patients of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. With a few select guests in the lobby at the Seacrest Studios, the event was also broadcasted live around the entire hospital campus for healthcare workers, patients and families to enjoy.
The dancers of Freestyle Dance Academy (Mr. Andrew, Anthony, BBoy Vivid, and Mr. Tony) always enjoy rocking for the crowd, as well as spreading the love of dance to new kids & families.

Services
The mission at Freestyle Dance Academy is to not only teach our students the technique behind dance, but to show them how to embrace their passion for dance.
Dance is an art form at FDA, not a competitive endeavor.
We do not encourage our students to be better than one another, but to learn how to express themselves through dance and then have a conversation with one another.
Every student is challenged to become better than THEMSELVES, not better than others.
Dance is a form of individual, artistic expression.

Andrew Byun grew up in the greater Philadelphia area, graduating in 2010 from New Hope-Solebury High School.
A recent graduate from the School of Visual Arts (SVA), with a degree in 3D animation, Andrew's interests are as varied as his dance moves.
Andrew's love of bboying began with his family.
Him, along with his older brother Eric, started teaching themselves to bboy in their basement.
Without any YouTube videos or tutorials on breaking at the time, all they had was a "How to Breakdance" VHS, an Expressions Crew 2002 DVD, and their imaginations to learn from during their journey.
