For over 35 years Alyce Brinkmann, the Owner and Artistic Director of Illinois Dance Conservatory (IDC) has provided premier dance training to students in the Chicago's Northwest suburbs, striving to inspire, develop, and sustain a love of dance in every student. Alyce is also the founder of Illinois Youth Dance Theatre (IYDT), a non-profit, world-class, pre-professional youth ballet company that was established in 2000.
Whether a student is new to dance or has prior experience and is looking to take their dance training to the next level, IDC has a program to meet their needs. We offer classes for children, teens, and adults and give you the ability to sign up for full programs by Level or select classes a la carte to create a program that best meets the student's needs.

Illinois Dance Conservatory (IDC) provides premier dance training for students ages 3 to adult, striving to inspire, develop, and sustain a love of dance in every student.
We have 2 locations, IDC in Wauconda and our satellite studio, IDC North, in Fox Lake.
Alyce Keaggy Brinkmann, the Owner and Artistic Director of IDC, enjoyed a successful professional dance career including 13 years as a leading artist with Milwaukee Ballet Company.
She has over 35 years of experience providing top-quality dance instruction to students in Chicago's Northwest Suburbs and is also founded Illinois Youth Dance Theatre (IYDT) a non-profit world-class pre-professional youth ballet company in 2000.
